Over the years of living here we are constantly asked about real estate in Costa Rica and prices. Well, most will lead you to believe that you can not get good deals on property in this tropical wonderland we call home. What a misconception that is!

I have a number of projects, hotels, and resorts needing JV or debt structured financing. I also have developed a truly good fractional ownership product here in Tamarindo, in a number of properties here. A person can purchase 25% equity ownership in a fully furnished vacation property here, (they are legally registered as coowners) and get 3 months usage each year, also being able to rent their unit time out if they choose. It’s not timeshare. It’s more like whole ownership. I have them staring at $49,000.
