Nigeria Bird Flu - July 2nd - 2006
In kan, Nigeria there has been detected a strain of bird flu that is the most lethal in the state of Taraba. Now 15 out of a total of 36 states have of visual accounts of bird flu.
There was an outbreak last week that was confirmed in lbbi local government area and it has spread to Gassol. At this point in time there have been infected chickens killed and 20 different farms.
Currently the case has been taken over by the Federal Ministry of our culture for better control.
The state government realizes the deep concern and problems related to this and have developed a committee to look into it. At this point in time there has been a team of that Marion’s that have been sent into these areas to determine the extent that the disease has spread.
